Metallized plastic film like CPP, PET, BOPP etc is widely used in flexible packaginf field. It has the following advantages:
(1) Compared with aluminum foil, it greatly reduces the amount of aluminum used so as to reduce the general cost a lot.
(2) It has excellent folding resistance and good toughness, rarely pinholes and cracks, no bending and cracking, and has improved barrier properties to gases, water vapor, odors, and light.
(3) It has excellent metallic luster, and the light reflectance can reach 97%; and it can form a colored film through coating treatment, and its decorative effect is beyond the reach of aluminum foil.
(5) The aluminized layer has good electrical conductivity and can eliminate electrostatic effects.
(6) It has good adaptability to post-processing such as printing and laminating.
