Structure of PET film

PET film is made from polyester raw material and processed by extrusion or casting. The structure of PET film mainly consists of three layers:
Base layer: The base layer is the main body of the PET film, which is directly extruded from polyester raw materials.
Coating: A coating is a thin film coated on the base layer with special properties, such as waterproof, oil-proof, corrosion-proof, etc.
Backing: The backing is the back side of the coating and is usually made of paper or plastic.

PP film: PP film is another type of plastic film that is made from polypropylene. PP film is generally less expensive than Polyethylene Terephthalate Film, but it is not as strong or durable.
