The role of medical non-woven masks is to prevent mutual infection between medical staff and patients during the medical process. Masks are generally required to be soft, have good ventilation, and block and filter against germs and dust. Masks are generally made of wet, dry, spunlace nonwovens or composite materials with a layer of meltblown nonwoven sandwiched between them. The filtering effect of the mask must be above 85% or even higher. The purpose of this is to prevent infection.
Material characteristics of medical non-woven masks:
Spunbond non-woven fabrics are made of continuous filaments after the polymer has been extruded and stretched, and the filaments are laid into a web. The web becomes a non-woven fabric. High strength, good high temperature resistance (can be used in the environment of 150 ℃ for a long time), aging resistance, UV resistance, high elongation, good stability and breathability, corrosion resistance, sound insulation, anti-scratching, non-toxic.
Application range of medical masks:
In accordance with the standards and important technical indicators required by various types of medical masks, medical protective masks are suitable for the protection of airborne respiratory infectious diseases by medical personnel and related staff, with a high degree of protection;
Medical surgical masks are suitable for basic protection of medical personnel or related personnel, as well as protection against blood, body fluids and splashes during invasive procedures;
The protective effect of ordinary medical masks on pathogenic microorganisms is not exact, and it can be used for disposable sanitary care in ordinary environments, or to block or protect particles other than pathogenic microorganisms such as pollen.
