For most people, our washable Cloth Face Mask will provide enough coverage to follow CDC recommendations as you go about your daily activities. Each reusable mask is made here in Los Angeles using premium American-made Supima cotton. Each individual layer of cotton creates a 3-dimensional barrier to help limit the spread of droplets and bigger contaminants, and the two layers in each mask increase coverage without significantly limiting airflow. This creates a comfortable, breathable face mask that also follows the guidelines laid out by the CDC. Since these masks do not feature an additional filter and are not medical grade, they are not recommended for situations with a high risk of infection, prolonged contact with a potential source of contamination, or in any clinical setting.
Our 3-Layer Face Mask is a single-use alternative that forms a barrier between you and the surrounding environment. These disposable masks are great for repeated, short-term use, and when you may come into closer contact with people throughout the day. They are made at a pharmaceutical facility in Xiamen, China, that is overseen by our trusted StringKing team on the ground. We use the highest-quality materials available to us. The inner and outer layers are made with spun-bound polypropylene, and middle filter is made of premium melt-blown polypropylene. Both raw materials and finished masks are subject to daily quality control tests by the manufacturing facility and verification by our StringKing team. These masks are intended for general use and are not “surgical", N95, or medical-grade masks meant for a clinical setting.
Both face mask options that we offer, the reusable Cloth Face Mask and disposable 3-Layer Face Mask, follow CDC recommendations for the use of facial coverings when social distancing measures are difficult to maintain in public.
