Medical protective masks are basically limited-use or disposable, and cannot be reused after washing. The medical protective mask is suitable for wearing in patients with respiratory tract infections that are spread by air or by droplets during diagnosis and treatment. It can generally be used for 4-8 hours, but once the medical protective mask is contaminated with blood or saliva splashes, It must be replaced immediately.
Mask replacement schedule:
1. If you are using a N95 grade mask, it is usually replaced every 6 hours or so.
2. If you are using a N95 mask, change it every 4 hours or so in a hospital or clinic.
3. If a N95 mask is used, the affected area should be replaced within 4 hours.
4. If you use a medical surgical mask, it should be replaced once every 5 hours.
