FAQ About Plastic Shrink Film
Is it easier for thinner thickness to tear?
Under the same raw material formulation, it is indeed the case that thicker stretch film has better tensile strength and puncture resistance. Adding metallocene can improve puncture resistance. Even with a relatively thin thickness, the addition of metallocene can still provide good tensile strength and puncture resistance.
The lateral tensile strength isn't sufficient?
Stretch film, also known as pallet wrap, primarily relies on longitudinal stretching. Both machine film and hand film are primarily stretched in the longitudinal direction, and there is usually little need for significant lateral stretching. If you have specific requirements for lateral tensile strength, please inform us, and we can make the necessary adjustments to meet your requirements.
The quantity for a container load is too small, and sea freight is expensive.
You can consider switching from a 76mm inner diameter paper core to a 50mm inner diameter paper core. Reducing the inner diameter will decrease the roll’s size and, as a result, reduce the volume it occupies, allowing you to load more goods and thus lowering sea freight costs.
Your price is higher
All products have three, six, nine grades, and the price will be different. You need cheaper price, we can also adjust the raw material formula. But I hope you compare the price and also compare the quality.
The price per roll is a little higher for us, but is the weight of the paper core the same? Our roll length and roll weight is definitely full meter and full weight. But if short meters are common in your market, we can also make them shorter to make you more price competitive.
